There are so many accommodations and locations to choose from when it comes to the famous Greek island of Santorini.
There are 12 subdivisions on the island known as Akrotiri, Emporio, Episkopis Gonia, Exo Gonia, Imerovigli, Karterados, Megalohori, Mesaria, Pyrgos Kallistis, Thera, Vothon, and Vourvoulos.
North of the capital city of Fira is Imerovigli; the most beautiful caldera of white washed cave houses, hotel resorts and paved paths along the calderas edge overlooking the Aegean Sea.
This stunning area is incredibly famous for watching the most magnificent Grecian sunset, also known the “balcony to the Aegean”.
This spectacular luxury hotel is situated centrally on the caldera with magnificent panoramic views of the island, including Skaros rock and the Volcano.
With a prime location, breathtaking views, romantic ambiance and excellent service and accommodations, this is definitely the place to stay time and time again!
Lounging on our private balcony and in the pool was one of our most favourite pastimes at this hotel.
Staying here allowed us to just unwind, relax in a peaceful environment and take in all of the natural beauty that surrounded us without any of the hustle and bustle of the main towns.
The tranquil evenings we spent by the pool watching the sunset with romantic music playing in the background have left us with the most wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.
The hotel serves up luxury in style and we are elated to have had the pleasure of staying here!! They do sell out; therefore, we would highly recommend booking your suite of choice as far in advance as possible especially during high season.
The hotel offers an array of suite categories; all with the traditional cycladic style. This is always great, as it allows you to select the right option for your travel budget.
The suites are built on several levels of the cliff, with terraces and balconies facing some of the most stunning views!
We absolutely loved the bar patio / lounge by the outdoor infinity pool. They consistently played ambient music and always had staff present to make any cocktails / beverages that you desired. Another aspect that we truly appreciated was that the hotel manager was always available and in his office which was located just steps away. Anything that we ever needed or questions that we had, he was always delighted to help!
Breakfast was included in our package so that’s always a definite bonus! We would select our items from a plethora of options everyday for the following morning, including the time that we wanted our breakfast to be served. Without any issues, our meal was delivered and set out on our balcony daily at the exact time we requested. The food was absolutely delicious every single time!
There are several restaurants located nearby, including the hotels restaurant so you really don’t need to leave and head to the main towns/villages. Should you want to head to one of the other towns, you could ask the hotel staff to call a taxi for you, arrange transport via their private chauffeur, take one of the local buses or just walk/hike to the neighbouring towns.
You can never go wrong with this luxurious hotel, which has stylish, gorgeous and incredibly spacious suites, along with super friendly staff/management that make you feel right at home during your stay.
TIP: If you are arriving via ferry or flight; email the hotel and have them arrange a pickup from your arrival location directly to the hotel to avoid any hassles and save time.
When we arrived at the ferry port; the hotel’s private chauffeur was already waiting for us with a sign. As he drove us to the hotel, he would stop occasionally along the way to show us some of the sites. This was amazing as we were able to take some incredible pictures; he was super friendly, knowledgeable and kind. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff promptly took our luggage to the room while we were greeted with refreshments and taken to the office for a seamless check-in.
Shortly after being shown to our room, the staff brought us more snacks and welcome cocktails which were delicious!!!
