Hotel Platia in Fira, Santorini, Greece

The capital city of Fira is where all of the hustle and bustle is. This is where you will be in close proximity to practically everything from restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, the local bus & taxi terminal, tour & excursion vendors and so much more.

In the main Fira Square is where you will find this family owned boutique hotel which is simply perfect in every way.

Luxury rooms with attention to the smallest details, kind and helpful owners who are always available to help in any way that they can.

Christina & Maria are such amazing people! They furnish the rooms with snacks, free water, juice and fresh eggs daily from their farm, along with the necessary equipment to cook your eggs.

They were so incredibly helpful in providing any information, tips and recommendations, maps, book tours, along with beach towels; all you need to do is ask. ⛱ ☀️

With a prime location, great views, stylish & comfortable accommodations at a fraction of the cost and spectacular customer service, this is definitely the place to stay every time!

We loved lounging on our private balcony and enjoying our drinks and snacks. As our balcony faced the main square, local friends that we made would say hello as they passed by.

This boutique hotel has three rooms and definitely sell out during high season. Needless to say, if you decide to stay here, book your room as far in advance as possible.

This convenient all star accommodation is adjacent to several restaurants, kiosk vendors and literally steps away from the bus terminal. Grabbing snacks, meals, bottled water, shopping, sightseeing, checking out the nightlife and commuting back and forth to the other towns including Oia, the beaches and anywhere else on the island via local transit was such a breeze.

TIP: Walk over to the terminal and look at the daily bus schedule in order to proactively plan out your day. There are lots of tourists and locals traveling about; the busses do get full so never chance taking the last bus in or out. Once they’re full, they’re gone, no exceptions. Don’t get stuck taking very costly taxi rides.
